Dry stone walls
The dry stone wall was the first example of human building and it represents the first attempt to change the environment for any purpose, both to build a shelter and to mark out a place.
Dry stone walls can be made substantially in two ways:
- a wall built with selected rough stones of various shapes and sizes
- a wall built with carved or semi-carved stones of considerable size, sometimes of a different origin from the place of construction.
Our works are mainly made with the natural stone of Modica, Ragusa and Comiso, which is extracted and delivered directly to our warehouse; we are always looking for new solutions with a thousand colours, glossy and matte finishes and different sizes.
